The Farm Cats and Cappuccino Thank....Someone

 The Farm cats were thrilled when....OK it was me that was thrilled when the box arrived. The Farm cats didn't care one bit until the box was empty and they had toys, treats, and well - a box. I don't know if they love Secret Paw as much as I do but they did enjoy all the fun that was included in their delivery this year.

I would love to thank the person and cat(s) who sent it but I have no clue who that might be as there was no card included. All I know is that the box came from sunny Florida. So thank you Florida cat(s) and person whomever you might be. We all had a great time with your beautiful box of gifts.

It was chock full of fun! So much packed into that box. I knew there had to be catnip of some kind in there because of the way the cats wanted to "help" me open everything. I just love when they "help" 

Of course the most exciting gift of all was the box itself. They are still playing with it. We should all know by now that spending money on toys is insane when all we have to do is give them a box! But we love them and so we buy them fun toys.

Inside were lots of presents to unwrap for the Farm cats, for Cappuccino the bunny and for me!

It was such a joy to open each one and just smile. There is not much to look forward to these days so this was a real bright spot. I love the cat mug as it show a Harry and a Sherpa cat. Then there were lots of their favorite toys; sparkle balls, catnip mice, and a catnip palm tree that was quickly appropriated by

Queenie the Farm cat. She has not stopped playing with it and she will not share. It's been rather amusing to watch. Maybe she thinks she should be a beach cat.

Cappuccino loves his bunny ice cream cone. He's been eating a little every day. It was full of dried greens and such and he has been happily munching.

He thanks the cats' secret paw for thinking of him. He knows this is a "cat thing" and that he is not a cat.

All of the Farm Cats, Cappuccino and especially I thank our Secret Paw for sending such a lovely box of gifts. We also thank Miss Paula for arranging this fun event every year. We hope all of you who celebrate have a very Merry Christmas and we wish everyone a very Happy New Year.

 Mom is a slacker and we should have posted these before.  Our Secret Paw gift went out and we know it was delivered.   Here we are helping get it together.

We carefully checked each item....

Raz made sure the box was sturdy....

Every year, a gift exchange is organized in the Cat Blogosphere (thank you Paula!). A few days ago, we received a big package: this year, our Secret Paws were Lola et Lexy, and their greeting card was attached to the gifts.

All the presents were beautifully wrapped in rustling paper, it was fantastic: even the packaging was in itself a gift !

Claire received a lovely scarf, a nice lid cup and a colorful potholder, and we received an irresistible fruit assortment, a tunnel and bonito flakes! Did I mention that the fruit came from Yeowww? 

 

After a good dose of… uh… lemon, I went to explore the tunnel, and you know what? It’s a rustling tunnel! It makes rustles when you play with it, I love it!

And since I’m kind, I even shared my lemon with Zorro.

Thank you so much, Lola and Lexy (and their human Dawn), you spoiled us!

Sending our Secret Paws

 It has taken our silly Momma way too long to post this!  We sent our Secret Paws present last week and it should be safely arrived by now (we hope).  We kept trying to get into the presents like they were for us and we wouldn't leave them alone, so Momma had to put us in the other room so that we didn't sample the goodies.  She told us they were for our Secret Paws pals!  

 See?  There are so many nummy treats and cool toys - of course, we would want to play with it!

Hey look!  There are human treats, too.  

After Momma got everything wrapped, then she let us come back and look. 

"But Momma, everything is wrapped now!  I can't get into it.  That's no fun."

"Charlemagne, these are presents for our Secret Paws.  We aren't supposed to get into them.  You did a nice job wrapping them, Momma."

"Okay - quality control check is done.  The box is all ready to go, Momma."

It got mailed the next day and should already be to our Secret Paws.  We sure hope they like all of their goodies!

Oh Boy! On Its Way

 Hello All Pals from Different Time Zones!

Peekaboo here to give you the latest.

We actually wrapped our Secret Paws goodies (I’m dying to tell you but Butterfly won’t let me—top secret) and Mom braved the Florida freezing weather of 65 degrees and dropped the box for special delivery.

Mom says it’s inside a car just like the one in the pillow behind me.

Butterfly 🦋 is in charge of keeping track where the box is as it goes all the way to ...PEEKABOO! Didn’t we discuss this already? Hush that mouth of yours.
